In addition to a great selection of relatively healthy and delicious food here, the service is absolutely amazing. I forgot the name of the young lady who was helping me but she was super nice, kind, caring and generous. It ended up to be the biggest and most delicious poke bowl I've ever had. I also tried their Po-Boy Sandwich and it was really good. Highly recommend checking out this unique place. I was told it's a small family-owned business and this location is the only one.

Hands down best poke spot in all of San Diego. I have been to so many different poke spots and Stubborn Poke is spot on every single time. Their scoop portions are generous and their sauces are fire. The fish always taste fresh and their toppings are on point. Tons of options; they even have crushed Takis as a topping!! It’s literally a GAME changer. I live all the way in Mission Valley and I drive all the way to El Cajon for this place. I wish they would expand and open a store near Mission Valley Mall somewhere.

I have had this numerous times and can't find another place that does the portions like this. Nothing compares to this place and its flavor. The variety of options is awesome. I can't even try another place based on what I see. This is my number one poke spot.
